Wissenschaft im Dialog explains science to the public and encourages participation. Our exhibits make it possible to actively engage with subjects relating to energy.
The energy calculator enables users to represent and evaluate personal energy consumption in the course of a day. The second exhibit is a large “scanner” that makes it possible to examine individual sources of energy such as gas, wind, nuclear energy, etc. The results are demonstrated by the software that is connected to the mechanics. The risks of transporting energy can be tested using a “hot wire”. If an accident occurs, an alarm is triggered and the various scenarios are shown on an integrated screen.
